Professional
My name is Marina (she/her/hers), and as a mental health counselor, I am dedicated to fostering healing and growth through compassionate guidance and evidence-based practices. I take an eclectic approach, drawing on numerous therapeutic orientations and practices to provide what resonates best with you. I’m passionate about helping others navigate through trauma, depression, anxiety, identity issues, and grief. I work with LGBTQIA+ folks, teens, adults, and couples, and strive to create a safe and supportive space for you to explore and navigate your journey toward emotional well-being, empowerment, and resilience.
Therapy is a journey, unique to each individual person. I believe in tailoring treatment to meet the unique needs and strengths of each individual I see, fostering a collaborative therapeutic relationship built on trust, respect, and non-judgment. I will show up for you, wherever you’re at in life.
Personal
I grew up in Alaska and have been in Washington for nearly twenty years now. I received my Master’s of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Western Washington University. I love to get outside and explore nature, but equally enjoy the indoors. I love to create, watch Studio Ghibli movies, and eat delicious food from the plethora of offerings we have here in Seattle!
