“Your no makes way for your yes. Boundaries create the container within which your yes is authentic. Being able to say no makes yes a choice.” - Adrienne Maree Brown, Pleasure Activism: The Politics of Feeling Good

I believe that clients are the experts. Our work together will be guided by your intuition and understanding as we collaborate on a path forward. I can support you to uncover and navigate questions around identity, relationships, grief, trauma, anxiety, and stress. I value my connection with each client and encourage a strengths-based mindset in our work together, recognizing the places where you already feel empowered and strong, so you can apply those skills in more challenging areas. My goal is to provide a space where you can be fully in the moment, trust yourself, and move towards healing.

My approach to treatment is collaborative, person-centered, Health at Every Size-aligned, and liberation-focused. In therapy, I seek to integrate client expertise with trauma-informed, evidence-based modalities including cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, exposure techniques, and mindfulness practices. As a white, queer, gender-fluid, non-disabled clinician with a background in education and a social justice orientation, I bring an awareness of my own identities, experiences, and biases into my work with clients, and am committed to making my practice a safe, anti-oppressive space for people of all identities and backgrounds.

I work virtually with teens (ages 14+) and adults, and especially enjoy working with those who have experienced trauma, traumatic loss and grief, anxiety, stress and burnout, LGBTQIA+ identifying folx, and those interested in understanding how systems of oppression have impacted their mental health and well-being. Outside of sessions I love reading radical utopian fiction, playing and writing music, and being by the water.
